Don't miss the unveiling of the final installation for Lacing Communities Together with Maggie Hensel-Brown and the Columbia Gorge Museum and the opening of Fragility by Friderike Heuer. Members and invited guests, meet the artists and get an exclusive first look at the exhibition and the new art installation of lace triangles!
Our community has been working for months to create and send in lace triangles from around the world to be sewn together in a massive installation. Be the first to see the giant lace artwork and more art from Australian lace artist Maggie Hensel-Brown! Refreshments will be provided. RSVPs are encouraged.
The opening will feature a series of lace landscape photomontages by Friderike Heuer, Fragility, Hensel-Brown's 2024 community lace project, Radiance, and the final installation for Lacing Communities Together.
