VOLUNTEERS MAKE HISTORY
AT COLUMBIA GORGE MUSEUM

Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteers are at the heart of the Columbia Gorge Museum. The time, energy, and knowledge they share make it possible for us to welcome visitors, care for collections, and bring the stories of the Gorge to life.

We offer a variety of opportunities based on your interests, including:

  • Retail and Reception - welcoming guests and creating a positive first impression

  • Collections - helping care for and organize artifacts and archival materials

  • Events and Fundraising - supporting special events and connecting with the community

Why Volunteer?

  • Gain hands-on experience in a museum setting

  • Learn more about the region's history, culture, and environment

  • Enjoy being part of a welcoming and supportive team
