About the Exhibition
Baron Eugene Fersen was born November 18, 1874, in St. Petersburg, Russia. He came from a wealthy and aristocratic family, which held lands and titles in Russia and abroad. How then did his collection of art, furniture, and writing come to reside here, at the Columbia Gorge Museum?
