Join our Executive Director and her two assistants as we explore the amazing world of insects, spiders, and other creatures and the environment surrounding the Columbia Gorge Museum. Our Summer Camp will transform young scientists as we learn how to safely hunt for critters to observe them, learn all about them in our lab using scientific tools, create journals to document our observations, learn how to classify specimens using the scientific method, and have fun while we learn new things and develop our interests. Included are short hikes, a foray into the Mill Pond, Museum time, and skill development.
