About the event
We invite our community to join Columbia Gorge Museum in welcoming Maggie Hensel-Brown, an internationally recognized Australian lace artist!
Hensel-Brown has been working in collaboration with the Museum for months on Lacing Communities Together with Maggie Hensel Brown and Columbia Gorge Museum.
This project asks people from around the world to make lace triangles reflecting the Gorge and send them in to the Museum. Hensel-Brown will sew all the collected triangles together in one large installation that will be unveiled at an official gallery opening on Friday, September 11.

There will be a private welcome reception for members and invited guests directly following the public welcome reception.
